I thought that I would begin my posts with a couple of paintings by my all time favorite artist, Henri Matisse.
Models at Rest 1928 Look at this wonderful painting. This woman is wearing cute house shoes. Probably because the tile floor is cold. I also like the way that Matisse left the girls face blank. The color and simple drawing is beautiful.
